Creating/Joining a Team
You may only belong to one team at a time. Creating or joining a team removes you from your previous team
Adding members
First, you need to invite a player. Next, tell that player to accept the
invite on the site. Once the invite is accepted, the player can begin immediately earning points for the team.
Changing Members
Whenever a player leaves a team (or is kicked off of a team), they take all the points they earned for the team with them. Those points are then discarded. If the player rejoins the team or joins another team, the points do not reapply. Points removal was created to prevent
Teams of like 20 players, who only add players to their Team Roster right
before a tournament and then delete them after, while keeping their roster at
5 people. Also, it makes teams more "team-like" by making the choice to drop members more difficult
Status levels
There are 3 different levels:
- Team Founder: This is the player who raised the team. He will
be able to invite and delete players and give players captain access.
- Captain: A captain can invite and delete normal members from
the team.
- "Normal" Member: Will just earn points for the team. A normal
member will have no access to invite or delete players.
Team Points
The top 4 players of a tournament will get points:
- Winner: 4 times the amount of rounds of the tournament. If a
tournament had 16 players and 4 rounds, the winning player will earn
16 points for his/her team.
- Finalist: 2 times the amount of rounds of the tournament. If a
tournament had 16 players and 4 rounds, the finalist will earn
8 points for his/her team.
- Semi-finalists: the amount of rounds of the tournament. If a
tournament had 16 players and 4 rounds, the semi-finalists will earn
4 points for his/her team.
If the tournament is a Trial, the points stated above are DOUBLED.
Additionally, players losing in the first round of an 8 max tournament receives a penalty -2 points. This penalty means a player needs to win >25% of matches to earn positive points
