Welcome! First of all, I'd like to mention i'm not Cavius the great grom themanadrain.com or thesource.com but still invented Nourishing Lich.
So far, Nefarious Lich will rotate out of the Extended format soon, therefore I searched for a good alternative in Extended.
Last extended Season, i played Lich (5-2,0-5,0-4,0-5,1-4 on ptqs, 1-7,2-5,0-5 on other tournaments) which proves the strength of the deck. With my current version i sometimes have problematic situations with Dark Confidant, but all in all, most matchups are solid.
If you have any suggestions, feel free to post ! - I'm thinking about removing some cards, adding Tarmogoyf or similar instead, but i just cant find space in the deck.

As obvious, Dark Confidant should be out. I would suggest Ancestral Vision, although I don't know if it would be too slow for your combo, but at least it fits the slot better. Mind's Desire and Manamorphose... I don't know if they really are worth it... maybe Summoner's Pact, since both of your creatures are green? And Ponder might help too.
Anyway, good luck breaking the format. I'm trying to do it too. May at least one of us succeed. |

| With all those extremly expenive cards you could think about riddle the lightning and some ponders or other cards that let you look on top of your library. |
