consistent disconnects on MWS

I'm having consistent problems with MWS. As we are playing a game, i lose connection. My internet connection is excellent. I either get a simple 'player lost' in the MWS log, or else i get a 'Could not connect: connection reset by peer' or another message 'Access violation at....address not found at 000010'
I'm relatively unfamiliar with complex IT stuff. my port 6667 is open, i have disabled hamachi... any thoughts?

I work as a programmer for a living and I get this too.

From playing with others I think it does happen a fair amount but to me more than others.

So far I put it down to playing through VMWare Fusion on my Mac but happy to hear any fixes anyone has?

restart your computers or try reinstaling always fixes it for me

access violations and most player lost messages where caused by misuse of MWS.

This includes trying to draw an arrow to something thats isnt there
..includes trying to put a damage counter on something that isnt...
