Can you use the mana from Primal Beyond, say R, to get BB out of a Graven Cairns as long as you use the mana for an elemental? I'm guessing this doesn't work, but I just wanted to double-check.

Are you using the mana for an Elemental spell or the activated ability of an Elemental? No? Then you can't use it for that.
