nobody cares dude. and yes, it is so obvious that metallica sucks. if you don't take into account that they are the biggest rock band in the history of the world selling over 130 million records. but clearly, they are trash. how many records has your faggoty little band sold? my guess is it's not more than 130 million

Not only is Metallica the birth of ignorant metal heads such as yourself, they are a group of ignorant metal heads themselves. I dont know how they sold so many albums with such little talent, but they did. And I mean they did! They are the biggest fucking sellouts the music industry has seen and well.... I'm a fan of The Beatles.

theres a difference between mainstream and good music. companies just want to make money so they put out bullshit that they know will sell. and btw hip hop does not suck bc they influence each other. metal heads want weed and hip hop want weed so they all agree to listen to sublime or cypress hill.

I don't think anyone can say Metallica is not talented, whether you like them or not. I'm basically indifferent regarding them but the guitarist in that band can shred.

Lol I'd love to see your research which shows this "proof." But no, we should instead illegalize the smoking of a plant which comes straight from the ground while continuing to allow for one of the greatest killers of Americans (tobacco) to be one of the largest American industries.

While we're on the topic, hundreds of thousands more people die per year from drunk drivers than from high drivers.

If we're going to legalize known killers, why not legalize the fun drugs? People will find a way to ruin their lives no matter what tools we give them.

Let me just say, if you don't want people to be stupid or Flame you, then you have to be respectful yourself, and not stoop to insulting people and making comments on peoples sexuality. I fail to see how it is insulting to insinuate that someone has sex with men, perhaps it is their choice to do so. I am a straight guy, and if someone says I am gay, I just shrug it off, cos who cares? I know who I am and people can say whatever they want.

I enjoy some metallica songs. Kill em all, Ride the Lightning and And Justice for All are all common spins on my turntables. After that....I dunno, they just stopped being exciting to me. I think Cliff was a superb bassist and his interplay with the band was amazing. Kirk is a great guitar player. makes the fretboard into pudding. It's hilarious in Some Kind of Monster to see his opinions about the album, and him tryin to squeeze in a couple solos. I can has soloz plz? haha. And James vocal delivery has become so iconic.

Now Megadeth. Where to begin. They have some great song structure. I mean, riffs that not too many others would even think to write. But often times the songs don't live up to the riff. They would make a better instrumental band, cos Mustaine's voice is just unbearable. He sounds like that kid on the playground who tried to bully out of your spare change by sounded way meaner than he really is.

So I guess metallica wins. But megadeth is not HORRIBLE. Note than I can have an opinion about a band and not have to hate everything else.

But when it comes to metal I would say Iron Maiden all the way. Everything in the band is strong and brilliant. Or take me back to Sabbath.

by the way...this really irritated me...Marijuana does not 'cause' schizophrenia. Schizophrenia is a very complex problem that you develop because of a genetic propensity to the disorder. Perhaps extensive marijuana smoking could trigger an episode IF you were ALREADY a person at risk of developing schizophrenia. And that is even a generous claim. I am a mental health worker and I work with this people everyday and its my job to learn about this stuff and know it. So don't go around making broad claims about drugs and mental illness when they are not based in science or reasoning.
