I love Megadeth, but I just bought the Rude Awakening CDs and listened to Train Of Consequences (live). It appears that I can't stand his voice anymore ^^
Metallica has better drums, that's most important to me. |

i enjoy power metal...

For the most part I agree. I can't stand gorgoroth though. I listen to all those bands and have seen most of them live quite a number of times. Seen amon amarth 5 times in 4 years! but instead of gorgoroth I would have to throw in Children of Bodom and Arch Enemy. Also I love dimmu but I like Cradle Of Filth better |

Yeah I skip that song on each album that its on. Worst Megadeth song in my opinion. ESPECIALLY because of the vocals. Dave only sings because he couldn't find anyone to be the vocalist. bet those people that he offered are pretty pissed at themselves |

Both are terrible bands. Blights, really. I would rather expose myself to Pete Wentz's voice for hours rather than torment myself with this trash.
Wasn't going to be rude until homo-bashing started. I'm gay. =)

The Hues Corporation rocks Metallica and Megadeth all day long. More talent, better vocals, and much much better instrumentalization in the song writing.
All of those points prove unarguable but I will put icing on the cake anyway: you can dance to The Hues Corporation.

The new Megadeth album is excellent, but I can't stand anything Metallica's done after the self-titled. It's just junk at this point, and yes, the new song is horrendous. It reeks of commercialism and attempted pandering to old fans with that fast thrash beat about halfway through it that's really just out of place.
I'll stick to stuff like Opeth and Into Eternity. Metallica (and to a lesser degree, Megadeth) are well past their prime and should just call it quits. |
