Because it's not nearly as played as Quick N Toast. People are afraid to try new things and they have to play tier 1 because they trust net decks. Why not try something new for a chance with a deck that has a good matchup vs most decks?

It has 3 snuffers and 3 mannequins to re-use them. Some number of puppeteers. Some counters but fewer than faeries. Nothing else that faeries really care about. Raven's Crime is symmetrical without kelpie.
I also have trouble believing it has a favourable matchup vs fae.

If your going to degrade and not agree that the deck is a solid deck with a good matchup agaisnt everything lol, take ur space somewhere else because this thread doesnt care about it. Seems like any topic someone starts on magic league there's always scrubs who run their mouth.

from experience, i never had a problem with playing the deck, except vs oversoul (unless u can get rid of him via hand manip. prior to them playing it) and colossus as well, and obviously racing RDW... i think crib swap is a perfect answer to col and dusk but there's gotta be something that stands out amazingly against RDW//demigod... unmake SB maybe?

edit: i also agree with people trusting net decks just because they win a trial, and then EVERYONE plays that deck, tweaked to their liking, so 75% of the next tourney = the same deck, its almost guaranteed to t3 again, so it looks like it really is a good deck, but its just %based really... Faeries isn't as bad as it seems, under any circumstances. 3 snuffers main + 3 mannequins counter magic as well. Then after sb 2 wispmares a 3rd raven's crime thoughtseizes and a 4th snuffers.

Thank you Gypsy, something so simple is completely true. Hence I'm testing this deck for about a month and going to know how to play it to perfection going to the SCG $5k open in Boxborough.

I've beaten this deck with faeries before but I can say it's not the easiest.

If you ever get to the stage where you have no cards in hand, even with a blossom on the table, it's hard to beat the kelpie deck.

But you have a much better early game, better matchups over all the jank decks you'll see in the first 2 rounds. So better players should probably be playing faeries if the call is between the two.

That said I'll be testing this tonight, mainly because I don't like the kithkin matchup with faeries, and see how it goes.

This deck has a fine matchup versus Fairies, Cant lose to kithkin, and is 50/50 versus Toast. But Loses hardcore to the Red decks.

I still like playing Sower in the sideboard especially versus the Toast decks, because they seem to like to bring in Chameleon Colossus alot. Which at the very least slows them down as they have to kill sower or they will just straight up counter him, which will give you an opening for crib swap to stick.

Also for the red decks, you might want to consider going a little bit deeper into a white mana base so you can add kitchen finks and runed halo into your sideboard. Naming demigod with runed halo makes the matchup alot easier.

I love this deck! But I'd like some more Glen Elendra Archmages, Sowers and Turn to Mists in there (or Mistmeadow Witch). No?

Someone explain why this cannot lose to kithkin. The 3 soul snuffers? I guess you draw all 3 every game. You only play 6 good removal spells, with crib swap just giving kithkins a creature back. Grave games is NOT a good deck, or else more people would play it. No one is scared of using a good deck, they are scared of using bad decks. I could see the only way you beat kithkins is by drawing multiple snuffers. Also,I am about 35/20 lifetime versus grave games with kithkin, and those grave games decks also were not idiots, recognized kithkin is not a good matchup, and played sower maindeck.

Kithkin is not unloosable, but its a matchup in favor of gravegames, we just tested yesterday(i know you said your draws where horrible). But i agree that white doesnt seem to be right, after testing yesterday.

If your not someone critiqueing and a person that likes the deck, take your bullshit somewhere else. Because we dont care what negatives you have to say about the deck, when I know it's a good matchup against kithkin and faeries.
