Merge with MTG-Temple |

| For a while we have been talking with the staff members of MTG-Temple for a possible merge. The reason is for this is that as you all know the current website has a lot of issues and we cannot fully support everything. A lot of the scripts used over at MTG-Temple are very efficient which we like to make use of them. The trade off for players will be minimum. In the next two months we will adjusts both sites into one and will launch a new website under the new name 'Magic Temple League'. All of the ratings of Magic-League and it's user base will exist. We will try to import of all the data from Temple to us but we cannot guarantee that at this point. More news will come tomorrow about this. As for IRC we will stay on Solid IRC. All of the channels will stay as well aside from #magic-league which will be #magic-temple-league. We will keep you informed about this matter tomorrow as well on the progress overall. We will attempt to cause as little down time as possible. There might be some involved when we launch the new website. The website it self will also get a new layout. Since both sides liked the constant changing backgrounds at MTG-Temple we decided for a flashy fresh new color scheme: light purple with big bright yellow dots and black letters. We chose Comic Sans as the font for this. The staff of both sites will also merge into one where each staff member will keep his or her old position. With this we hope to have a stable website that can run smoothly and which we can extend with new features. For any questions you are free to reply to this or send us an e-mail. |

The problem with going pink was:
a) some people liked it
b) it unfortunately coincided with a hosting problem so we were stuck with it for a while
