Judge Test Reset

Another three months, another judge test reset....

As usual, there are a few requirements before you can take the test:
  • Have been registered at least 30 days in the League.

  • Have played in at least 3 tournaments

  • Not requested a test since the last reset

The test is not easy so I recommend studying/preparing beforehand. Every single reset I tell people to study and they do not listen. STUDY, STUDY, STUDY!!!

Comprehensive rules for studying BEFORE taking the test: http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=magic/rules

Do not take the test while you are distracted by other things (and make sure to pace yourself so you don't run out of time).

Reminders:
  • Just giving a number without an explanation is still wrong.

  • Plain yes/no answers are always wrong.

  • Do not give irrelevant rulings. Irrelevant ruling + correct answer may still be considered wrong

  • Make sure that the answer is coherent. If we cannot understand your correct answer, it can't be considered correct.

  • We do not give out answers to test questions (even after you take the test) so do not ask

  • No outside materials means: NO RULEBOOKS, NO OTHER PEOPLE, NO ONLINE SEARCHES, NO ANYTHING EXCEPT YOUR RULES KNOWLEDGE

Happy Testing,
Laplie

So you think you have what it takes to be a judge?

PS Make sure to EXPLAIN your answers. A simple yes or no or number is not adequate. (I also say this every time, and every time people respond with 1 word answers.)

....

If you do pass the test, make sure to be online. Otherwise, you can never be trained and may miss your chance to become a judge.
