T.T I know its a bold statement, but i really do think 12Post was the best deck for the format and i probably had one of the best maindecks of the deck available (admittedly my sideboard was really really terrible).
by DeVoursneyNR on 2011-05-29 22:17 CET
I'm surprised that my deck, which played no lands, got 4th-6th XD Also, I noticed that the list that archmage shipped me does really well against Hyperegenesis decks. I almost won r4 but I made a few play mistakes.

Marked lack of good mono blue.
by gypsy on 2011-05-29 23:09 CET
lol halo BEST DECK
by gypsy on 2011-05-29 23:35 CET
and i dont know why aether vial isnt banned they banned anything else that was relevant vial should be in every creature deck
by boss95 on 2011-05-30 00:15 CET
WTF seriously no serra avenger or jotun grunt in the WW 75 -_-
by archmage521 on 2011-05-30 00:19 CET
your welcome halo ;P
by DenisSinner on 2011-05-30 00:36 CET
Jotun Grunt doesn't get enough cards from the Graveyard in Modern (he was never played in old extended?). Serra Avenger could replace KotwO thought. Hawks are awesome with Vial, feels like Bitterblossom :)
by DenisSinner on 2011-05-30 00:43 CET
Yeah Serra Avenger should be in there, beeing Fallout & Punishing Fire proof is a big plus. Why isn't my edit button working?
by Frozen_Fire on 2011-05-30 00:45 CET
Halo_Lover: your deck is amazing, but you just forgot about Summoning Trap. If someone is wanting to counter your 0cc dudes with chalice, Surprise Buttsex! LOLWUT Progenitus on turn one!
by Burton911 on 2011-05-30 00:48 CET
card counts of the format:
by kendiggy on 2011-05-30 00:56 CET
Dude, the pros haven't gotten their hands on this format. I would expect a huge change.
by Terri on 2011-05-30 01:02 CET
they did. the winner is a pro he top8ed at pro tour berlin and top 32 or even top 16 couple other pts
by pascal3000 on 2011-05-30 01:15 CET
How does that look like Legacy at all? It looks like Zoo and thats all...
by Terri on 2011-05-30 01:22 CET
pascal obv you re the best player ever existed on ml why dont you just fuck off and play with better players. the shit you are writing the whole time annoys everyone.

Thought about the lack of cards/decks and it is mostly related to people not having played in Mirrodin and onward.
by Blad01 on 2011-05-30 03:47 CET
This should have been a master in swiss rounds.
by silverbullet on 2011-05-30 09:38 CET
at least my Merfolk got beat by the 1st placer. Congrats! I wonder why I was the only Merfolk player.
by DenisSinner on 2011-05-30 09:44 CET
by wdeister on 2011-05-30 10:18 CET
This should be what extended is. Maybe push it back to Onslaught and go from there. Vial would undoubtedly need to be banned, every bad deck I built with Vial in it beat every bad deck without vial in this format.
by ChristPunchr on 2011-05-30 12:57 CET
I actually played pre-1.5 extended and lost interest in it around the time the format got warped by foundry.
by Mengu09 on 2011-05-30 13:43 CET
where is Punishing Fire in Zoo??? That's madness to not play it there :)
by Tao on 2011-05-30 13:59 CET
lol silly kids don't know anything
by Burton911 on 2011-05-30 14:26 CET
by Wichtelman on 2011-05-30 15:00 CET
so much fun here... :P
by Tao on 2011-05-30 15:17 CET
that "naya blade" deck is zoo. but for sake of review, let's pretend it's not zoo, even though its a red-white-green aggro deck with wild nacatls.
by darkwizard42 on 2011-05-30 16:20 CET
I will say one thing, I lost due to a misplay on my part...I tutored up a Sword of Fire and Ice instead of Sword of Light and Shadow...even with two path to exiles, I would have been able to push through some damage and get life back. DenisSinner played a great set of games and the last one was tempo to the max.
by [R]Nchamay on 2011-05-30 16:59 CET
Can someone explain how halo's deck works? I kind of get it, just not a lot lol
by AppleofEris on 2011-05-30 17:00 CET
Magus of the Moon and Blood Moon are both legal. Zoo decks for the lose.
by Kytep on 2011-05-30 17:08 CET
by GuilleGG on 2011-05-30 18:09 CET
I los R1 with denisssiner and made thesame missplay that Darkwizard42 did, fetched the wrong sword. If i search for SoLS or SoWP i would have won G3.
by DenisSinner on 2011-05-30 18:17 CET
Hm there actualy was no G3 in our match ^^
by mishimakaz on 2011-05-30 18:46 CET
Stoneforge Mystic in EVERY format...
by darkwizard42 on 2011-05-30 19:20 CET
^ true story
by jfc on 2011-05-30 19:46 CET
by DenisSinner on 2011-05-30 20:13 CET
now imagine they would have made SFM Mythic...
by darkwizard42 on 2011-05-31 00:30 CET
Would have been jace valued lol easy 70 dollar card
by DeVoursneyNR on 2011-05-31 01:11 CET
Okay, my deck wins with Blazing and Shining Shoal. You deal a bunch of damage to them, they try to return the favor and you kill them. Chancellor of the Dross and Soul Spike help this and the black shoal kills their dudes so you can get through.
by on 2011-05-31 08:27 CET
this is a class format although i ant see why nobody was aethervileing faeries into play, and i expected a GW token aggro.
by Akatsuki on 2011-05-31 15:24 CET
by Burton911 on 2011-05-31 21:50 CET
no fun here anymore? :/
by Akatsuki on 2011-06-01 22:27 CET
could you please explain here? I did it manually and posted it on the source, but it'd be nice to know for the future
by Cableguy on 2011-08-17 14:28 CET
The following cards are banned in Modern tournaments:
by Cableguy on 2011-08-17 14:29 CET
I cannot take these lists seriously considering they are all banned and illegal
by DonDiggy on 2011-08-18 17:43 CET
