Eldariel on 2009-11-27 21:32 EST The dropper at 4-0 would've probably won had he played until the end. Was playing Spread 'em, which is pretty good vs. Jund.
by defuseKid on 2009-11-27 21:36 EST surprise surprise.. by Jacois on 2009-11-27 21:39 EST Well, the top 16 had only 4 Jund. Just the first 2 pages of decks from the tournament seemed really diverse. by SJM on 2009-11-27 22:13 EST I don't like speed007's sideboard at all. One of the things that makes the Japanese version of Jund work is that it plays 4x of the uber-powerful cards bit blast and broodmate. Cutting to 3 of each for sable stag is nuts.
by kumagmd on 2009-11-27 23:21 EST the return of the boring mirror match finals... by Berzerker on 2009-11-28 00:13 EST this is why I am so tired of standard right now. by TheWatery on 2009-11-28 00:41 EST Not to say it would have been a guarantee, but I 3-0 dropped and my list could have easily top 4'd. by DevonKyle on 2009-11-28 03:54 EST Quenchable fire is for the mirror. Honestly, think about it. It is a solid sb card. I agree that my sb is a bit weird but its more in the testing phase than anything else. I don't like ruinblaster but I'm still in the process of finding what should replace it. I agree it is amazing in the mirror and in various other match ups but since I refuse to run rampant growths the possibility of hitting it off of bloodbraid on turn 4 haunts me. by gypsy on 2009-11-28 04:22 EST quenchable fire seems rly bad the mirror isnt about burning them out its by winning attrition wars with mind rots/ ruinblasters by DevonKyle on 2009-11-28 04:47 EST well it worked for me and worked well might I add. I've tested it a lot and I made my judgment call. This format is too boring and I decided to try something new. Didn't turn out too bad for me. by pascal3000 on 2009-11-28 08:33 EST I played spread em and lost r1 to Green White tokens t.t Probably the most impossible matchup next to Vampires, maybe even worse t.t by Mykrob56 on 2009-11-28 10:17 EST @ gypsy: you've obviously never dealt six damage to a jund player in the mirror, or hit it of a bituminous blast.
by gypsy on 2009-11-28 13:24 EST you obviously dont know what attrition means if you think a burn spell that only goes to the face wins an attrition war. it might be good but i dont think u want a burn spell in the mirror when they are trying to blightning/mind rot you and kill ur lands with ruinblaster |
