Ilike my version better with bloodbraid elf

by ManaLeak on 2009-10-29 23:24 EST

most of the decks were too slow to deal with the rougue ww how many tried to run goblins?

gj lat

by brimstone on 2009-10-29 23:33 EST

That Brave the Elements in WW just blew me out. :(

by dwarfas on 2009-10-29 23:53 EST

welcome to yu-gi-oh folks. Trap decks =\

by Holysword on 2009-10-30 00:48 EST

This is the craziest winners list ever. No WUr, no Jund and \No Boros

by cmc on 2009-10-30 01:05 EST

lolll

by xSNACKSx on 2009-10-30 01:15 EST

Trappa is such a fun deck, gj lat.

by Kytep on 2009-10-30 01:37 EST

I think Brave the Elements may be an under-rated "sleeper" card. It's like BFT in many cases, and can often be better (your white creatures get protection from EVERYTHING of that color that turn, not just a single source). Plus, it's great for alpha strikes; just name "Green" vs. Jund and you have a free swing with everything.

by Lat[GRC] on 2009-10-30 02:18 EST

Mycoid Shepherd tech deck ! :P

Ty ppl! Dunno why they name it in spanish... But anywayz.. Es una BOMBA !

by mrwegle on 2009-10-30 02:47 EST

GJ bugaga!

by 2und40 on 2009-10-30 03:15 EST

and there you go 5C Cascade.

By the way, those are the Decks Faeries kept in Check last year and I' don't know if I like it or not.

by Lynolf on 2009-10-30 04:09 EST

No Progenitus mainboard? You run 4 Harrow and 4 fetchlands, but no Lotus Cobra? Explain your decisions; I've been testing that deck lately and I want to know. :)

by Lunari_ on 2009-10-30 07:14 EST

One of the worst deck names in a while btw

by magryn on 2009-10-30 07:41 EST

There are no spots in that deck available for cobra, and it is a relatively bad card anyways.

by Lat[GRC] on 2009-10-30 07:53 EST

1st reason that I can't afford it Irl 4 cobras, 2nd its not really needed couse at 2 mana you got trace and harrow.
The uber combo comes when you play: 1. noble 2.Harrow+trace or rampart, 3rd round IONA or sphinx :P

About progenitus if you play test the deck youll notice its kinda control deck so he comes vs control decks (cant do much vs aggro) and also it is really dificult to hard-cast him with the mana base i got here.

@Lunari I kinda agree :( As my mate playtester said we were thinking smthing about dark bant trap

by RuSheR on 2009-10-30 07:54 EST

lol ITS A TRAP

by kweh on 2009-10-30 08:26 EST

how does the matchup against jund/vamp/boros/UWR control goes?

by Lat[GRC] on 2009-10-30 08:38 EST

Jund is decent couse fast Iona for black or a sphinx kinda locks the game (I would say smthing about 40-60 for jund from my tesing).
Vamp with Iona is gg. from testing smthing about 60-40 for Trap.
Boros.. well just scoup and go next opponent :( Really bad matchup.
UWR i dont have it to test it irl but in mws i never lost to one of those.(last trial I won rn1 the UWR control winner of the trial before)

by kweh on 2009-10-30 08:45 EST

fair enough :) is this the kind of deck that u'll use for the game day and is consistent enough to tackle against current T1 decks? What changes will u make then?

This is a very interesting deck and i'm planning in using it =D

by andre2008 on 2009-10-30 09:20 EST

It´s a Trap Bino!!!!

(Only Brazilians will understand this)

LOL :D

by wilier on 2009-10-30 11:01 EST

wtf i happening to the world?

OH NOES, OH MY GOD

by Bacur on 2009-10-30 12:24 EST

GJ JedD, im so happy to see my irl deck there. Last Trial i was 4th with it :(

4 color Trap deck can own almost any control deck esp WW and UWR. Red have Earthquakes and Banefires SB.

by dwarfas on 2009-10-30 12:48 EST

Just for you guys I am going to play the trap deck in real life and yell TRAP every time I play my trap card.

by dwarfas on 2009-10-30 12:50 EST

If I play this deck will I have to listen to Trap musik while I do it?

T.I. blows balls. If I hear that trap musik song ever again I am going to bust a cap in someone's ass.

by Trotsky1 on 2009-10-30 13:03 EST

I think a guy got DQed for doing something similar with a mortal combat deck.

by Qamiqaze on 2009-10-30 13:54 EST

dwarfas, i think you're missing the point of lat's deck. he doesn't need his creature to be countered to use his trap; he has the acceleration to hardcast it quickly, where it basically becomes a choice fatty at instant speed for 6. that or he can just hardcast his non-progenitus fatties. the deck functions like a 3c all in green deck; the counter resistance is a bonus.
