Jund seems like to be the new FAERIES...

but I can't argue, its my deck IRL and its really good...

by cmc on 2009-10-08 22:13 EST

COUNTERSPELL TOO GOOD AT 1UU!!1!!1!1

by penpen on 2009-10-08 22:41 EST

Jund - 21
Esper Control - 6
Vampires - 5
RDW - 6
Bant - 1
G/R Elves - 1
Naya Midrange/Ramp - 6
Naya Zoo - 3
Cascade Control - 3
Grixis Control (all of you did terrible so quit playing it!!!) - 8
Mill (really weird 3-1 list that isn't fully mill) - 6
MWC (splash and no splash) - 4
WW - 3 (Note: some tard thought this was Zendikar block XD)
UWx Control - 8
5cc - 1
R/W Control - 2
Allies - 2
GWx Landfall - 2
RG Beats - 1
Warp World - 1
Time Sieve - 1

Notes: The only reason I'm doing this metagame report is because Jund has dominated and I wondered if this was because of it's popularity.
Jund was not only popular but the most sucessful (more than half were above 3 wins)
Almost all of the control builds did terrible.

by Pikanso on 2009-10-08 23:14 EST

I know this Rg elves ...
XD

Gj all

by Eldariel on 2009-10-09 00:22 EST

Well, Jund IS apparently a quarter of the field so if it didn't win, it would obviously be a terrible deck. It isn't terrible, but whether it's the best remains to be seen.

Btw, Sligh players, stop maindecking Act of Treason. Seriously. It's terrible vs. Jund.

by penpen on 2009-10-09 00:23 EST

Elves is very hawt stuff though I'm surpised it's not running more Vines for Jund.

by EnforcerX on 2009-10-09 00:32 EST

how did that 16 card s/b do for u Simone?

really?...no DQ for that?...and every card in the board is relevant...not like the 16th card is a land or something

o...thts right...magic-league doesnt care about mtg rules

by mrwegle on 2009-10-09 01:31 EST

Mammonth GJ

by compucrazy on 2009-10-09 01:43 EST

Does that weird 3-1 mill deck have the 0/1 flying regen with cascade and nemesis of reason?

by Lat[GRC] on 2009-10-09 05:01 EST

Yep its my new try to build a deck :P

by Shagrath on 2009-10-09 07:09 EST

And Nonfuture, sounds like you had a really fun trial :)

by corbox on 2009-10-09 15:05 EST

GR Elves with 64 cards, Simone's deck with 16 cards on sideboard ... the words I was searching were LMFAO ??

by NoNFuture on 2009-10-09 15:20 EST

64 cards..... i played with 60....

by corbox on 2009-10-09 15:27 EST

Lol lil drunk tonite ! As I said : LMFAO !!!

by Krastino on 2009-10-09 17:48 EST

NonFuture, sorry for my ignorance, but how could u beat all of those jund decks? I mean, jund creatures are bigger and stronger, while ur only scary creature is Archdruid or Garruk...show me what I can't see :)

by ManuS on 2009-10-09 20:56 EST

obv mos tlikely through the tribal synegies and Planeswalkers.
althought the tribal synergies wotn matter tomuch cause stickign druid vs jund is rather unlikely

by slore on 2009-10-10 03:31 EST

I don't think there's enough dandy choices for other kinds of decks to thrive. Let's face it - with LRW-SHM block out of the way and Zendikar's tribals with limited synergy... Jund seems the regular choice with variety built in it.

by isperia on 2009-10-12 17:41 EST

yay mamonth! go go )))))))))

by littleletler on 2009-10-13 09:43 EST
