magic cards

by Lynolf on 2008-08-19 03:18 MST

Lignify definitively doesn't suit well in there. I don't know if Faerie Macabre is really necessary, since graveyard-based cards aren't common in block, and if your opponent doesn't get them, you just have a dead card in your hand slowing your game down.
For what you say in that article, I would add another Cloudthresher and another Raking Canopy. Elvish Hexhunter may also be worth trying, an effective way to deal with Bitterblossom, since the miserable Faerie decks are rising in popularity.

Anyway, good luck with that deck. :)

Lost Semi to triple scion of oona from Razr8.

To bad he had such good draws :p

Nice Job

by Circa on 2008-08-19 11:42 MST

I also lost to Razr8 Round 4.

by bobjackson on 2008-08-19 11:54 MST

Razr8 just wondering if you played any rdw and how did u fair against them.

by Circa on 2008-08-19 12:01 MST

I was playing Fae, and I played vs. RDW. It is hard, but if you can stabilize at 12+ life or so, you win the mid-late game easy.

I 2-0'd it.

I also 2-0'd Kithkin. Same story.

by PV on 2008-08-19 13:13 MST

Hey that faeries list is awesome again ^^

by ZW on 2008-08-19 13:44 MST

stfu pv. anyway, rdw is pretty hard, but only if they get a fast draw. Same goes for kithkin, except that rdw plays burn which makes it about a 60/40 matchup for rdw, while kithkin is only around 50/50.

by PV on 2008-08-19 14:04 MST

kithkin is actually a good matchup you know ^^

by Razr8 on 2008-08-19 16:14 MST

RDW and kithkin are both pretty easy, the only way you can lose is if they curve with figure into procession, or you know if you mull to oblivion.

played against the RGB Midrange thing and it was a close matchup, I dont remember any RDW though

by ZW on 2008-08-19 16:35 MST

PV, maybe for you it is, but for a regular faerie player, kithkin is 50/50, and it has been that way in ptqs also.

by gypsy on 2008-08-19 19:34 MST

see what i mean zw thats pvs faerie list yet you talk shit to him about it. kithkins is pretty easy mu after sb.

by ZW on 2008-08-19 20:13 MST

I was kidding when I said stfu. Also, I respectfully disagree and do not believe to be as easy a matchup as you believe it is.

by ShaunD on 2008-08-19 20:46 MST

maybe your just not a good player ZW?

by aldaryn on 2008-08-19 21:26 MST

pretty sure he already admitted he's not as good as pv...what more do you want? you guys talk so much trash, what's the point?

by jkassem on 2008-08-19 23:15 MST

Looks like he started it, aldaryn.

by Krastino on 2008-08-20 07:02 MST

Hey PV, congratulations for your 9th position at GP Denver...it's always fault of the rating lol.
I'd like to ask you if those Stillmoon Cavaliers are really strong against Kithkin, better than Sower, and if they are nice in Mirror.
Thanks
