Mixed Format Team Master Procedure - Magic: the Gathering article

As announced earlier, we are having a mixed format teams master tomorrow. This was done once before in ancient magic-league history, and it was a blast, so we expect nothing less this time around.

Each team will consist of three separate players - one playing Standard, one playing Extended, and one playing Legacy. Once registered, players won't be allowed to switch decks/formats between them.

Registration will require all players to submit decks to a tournament on the site, as done usually for master tournaments. In addition to that, team captains (team captain = a player a team designates to represent it) will have to preregister teams here: http://www.magic-league.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=12624, or submit them to me, the Tournament Coordinator for the master, during the entries time for the master.
I strongly urge everyone to preregister, that will speed up the master significantly.

IN CASE A MEMBER OF A TEAM FAILS TO REGISTER FOR THE MASTER ON-SITE DURING THE ENTRIES, THE ENTIRE TEAM WILL BE DISQUALIFIED. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Additional information:
-the prize for the master is 90$ store credit for the winning team.
-there will be no awarded byes.
-the master will be swiss + top4 playoff
-the channel for the tournament will be #master, as usual for master tournaments

Is there a second place prize?

Seems unlikely there will be a split in the finals either way, but would be nice to know.

There is no second place prize, not like it affects the ability to split anyway.

Splitting 90 bucks between 6 people leads to some small numbers. Splitting 90 bucks between 2 people doesnt lead to as small of numbers. But Its cool. Just means people will have to play it out.
