Once again half of these who were supposed to get byes got a gameloss for being paired and no show :-/

Just scrap and remove them altogether.

by Meatwarz on 2007-07-07 10:33 MDT

Thats magic-league, accept it.

(My english isn't really good)

They should add a good system to add byes. The last master was really complicate. I had one bye, I Pmed the TC(You should not do that) and I was called to join #master_bye(He named my name with one bye)(It was just a little link in a normal sentence, no color and etc. I was lucky to see it.). I joined the channel and I got afk. In my return I got a matchloss..

The Djinn's formula was maybe the worst that I saw in all my life. About 30min to wait and always check on irc for update to declare my bye and if you don't see a little sentence, it's a gameloss. He just said that I didn't accept the bye. Who don't accept a bye!? It should be the job of the tc to check with athe bye list who have a bye. The TC is maybe very busy, but he has time to do it. Flippy was a master's TC and he corrected my judge test during a master.

After all, I played a trial for a bye, wake up a morning just for a master. Got a matchloss instead of my bye(I spended 6hours for it) and got DQed because I was frustrated and pmed Djinn(I didn't insult him). He was impolite with me, he said that he did a mistake but he said I'm only 1/120 people so he doesn't care. He was able to repair his mistake but didn't care because I'm a random for him. He gave me the chance to continue my game and after 1 sec he changed his idea and gave a mathloss again.(I didn't say anything between both decision)

In conclusion, you can work for a bye during 6 hours or more and the TC is able the remove this bye if he want. He can DQed people for any reason even if he play in the event too. He may not respect the right formula and nobody can argu with it because he's the TC.

I understand the fact about arguments vs TC is illegal, because everybody cry about a decision. But I think you should add a limit of TC's power in a master. He's maybe a good guy because he accept to Tc it, but he's a player like everybody in the event and can take advantage of it.

I wanna know if it's possible to have my bye for the next master because it was really a mistake from the TC. And I want my rating back because of the mathloss.

Thanks if you do.

They should annonce this; "If you win a trial, you have 50% chance to win a bye"

by Dapug on 2007-07-08 14:30 MDT

You really shouldn't bitch too much about it, because without Djinn volunteering, he might not have even had this master. Djinn isn't even a judge any more, and ran this master for a few thank you's from a couple of players.

by Meatwarz on 2007-07-10 07:14 MDT

pff, if somebody is volunteer, it doesn't mean we should accept things done in a terrible way (and a way of giving byes this master was the worst i've ever seen) as it is.
